Grant Thornton, Chicago, introduced a number of management adjustments. The agency appointed David Hazels, who joined the agency in 2002, as national managing accomplice of advisory companies, liable for the strategic course and operations for a spread of service areas. He takes over the position from Jim Peko, who has been appointed COO, and has been with the agency since 2006. Renato Zanichelli, who has been with GT since 1994, was named national managing accomplice of tax companies, succeeding Jamie Fowler. Fowler, who has been with the agency since 2003, now turns into Grant Thornton’s first national managing accomplice for transformation, main the agency in creating new services for purchasers and managing the agency’s personal expertise and transformation efforts. Nichole Jordan, who joined the agency in 2003, was named regional managing accomplice of the central area, taking on from Wally Gruenes, who will retire in August 2020.
